Maj. Todd A. Book and Amy M. Arona were married July 5 in an outdoor ceremony at the Country Club of Hudson (Ohio), by the Rev. David Butler of Old Oak Bible Church, Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

The bride is a daughter of Christine Arona, Seven Hills, Ohio.

The bridegroom is a son of William and Joan Book, Mercer.

Jennifer Dugan, Parma, Ohio, bride’s friend, was matron of honor. Tina Duffy, Wilmington, Del., groom’s sister, was a bridesmaid.

Maj. Mark Gilmore, Kansas City, Kan., groom’s friend, was best man. John Book, Mercer, groom’s brother, was a groomsman.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Country Club of Hudson.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple live in Fairborn, Ohio.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Garfield Heights Senior High School. She received a bachelor of fine arts in advertising from Columbus College of Art & Design; a bachelor in elementary education from the University of Akron and a master of education in reading from Fayetteville State University, N.C. She is a kindergarten teacher at Trotwood (Ohio) Fitness and Prep Academy.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of West Middlesex High School. He received a bachelor of science in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle University, Daytona Beach, Fla.; and a master of business administration from University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

He is an Army infantry officer.

He served in Iraq and Afghanistan and is assigned to Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Ohio, attending the Air Force Institute of Technology for a master of science in astronautical engineering.
