A man was killed in a two-car crash at about 7:20 p.m. Monday on North Hermitage Road southbound, just north of Hickory United Methodist Church, said Hermitage Police Chief Patrick B. McElhinny. He said he did not know the man’s name. It appeared that one of the cars had gone left of center, but the crash was still under investigation and McElhinny said more details would be released today. Hermitage firefighters assisted.
