Annetta L. Dunlap, a resident of Centertown Road, Grove City, for the past 19 years, formerly of Fort Washington, Md., died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday (7-1-06) in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, after a long, hard battle with cancer. She was 66.
Mrs. Dunlap was born May 9, 1940, in Aurora, Colo., to Melvern Hannum and Nancy (Dodd) Hannum Hardesty.
She was a graduate of Anacostia High School, Washington, D.C.
She was currently a homemaker. She was a veterinary technician for 10 years prior to moving to Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Harrisville United Methodist Church.
She was a former Sunday school teacher. She served on several church committees and was a church usher and greeter.
She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed horseback riding, quilting and gardening.
She married Dick C. Dunlap Oct. 27, 1982.
She is survived by her husband, at home; three daughters, Cheryl L. Krankowski and her husband David W., St. Leonard, Md.; Patricia D. Smaridge and her husband Eric S., Odenton, Md.; and Nancy Barnett and her husband Col. Daniel Barnett, Oahu, Hawaii; four sons, James A. Thorne and his wife Karen, Berryville, Va.; Donald E. Dunlap, Lothian, Md.; Russell L. Dunlap and his wife, Kelly, Lothian; and Stephen Dunlap and his wife Denise, Accokeek, Md.; 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Tammy Farmer and her husband Wayne, Colonial Beach, Va.; and Debbie Myers and her husband Mark, Waldorf, Md.; two brothers, Buddy Hannum, Bosier City, La.; and Robert Hardesty, Mechanicsville, Md.; and her mother, Nancy Hardesty, Mechanicsville.
She was preceded in death by her father, her stepfather, Wayne Hardesty, and a sister.

Burial: Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
