MERCER – The Mercer County Conservation District will sponsor a children’s summer discovery programming series.

This is a weekly programs providing hands-on, interactive learning experiences in nature. Students get to engage with their local environment through many different learning styles.

This series is designed for children 6 to 9 years old. All programs will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Munnell Run Farm, 753 Greenville Road, Mercer.

• June 18, “Interactive Garden Discovery”

• June 25, “Down on the Farm”

• July 2, “Wonderful Watersheds”

• July 9, “River Monsters”

• July 16, “A Hiking We Will Go”

• July 30, “Pollinator Discovery Day”

• Aug. 6, “Local Farm Field Trip”

• Aug. 13, “Summer Discovery Celebration Day”

Register for the entire series by June 14 for $40. Individual sessions are $5 per child, except for the July 30 and Aug. 6 dates, which are $15.
