THINGS TO DO
• Shenango Valley Urban League is taking applications for its Summer Youth Apprenticeship Program, A Career Exploration for Youth, for ages 12 to 15.
Youth will have the chance to learn from qualified professionals, have lunch with leaders, attend career camp, Wellness Wednesdays and more.
Applications must be picked up by youth only at the SVUL (second floor) by Monday.
Not all youth will be selected.

• Catholic Daughters of the Americas meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hickory Grille, Hermitage.
This will be the closing meeting for the summer. Preliminary plans for the 100th anniversary celebration will be discussed.
All Catholic women are invited to join us. Come and enjoy the company of the members of the oldest and largest Catholic women’s organization in the Americas.

• Shenango Valley Gardeners meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in room 123 at First Presbyterian Church, 600 E. State St., Sharon.
On the agenda: The garden tour, First Presbyterian Church garden, volunteers schedule, treasurers report, various garden tour visits in July and August and a Wetlands Tour report.
