Church hosts Shoot for Stars Game Night
SHARPSVILLE – Children and teenagers of all ages are invited to join the Shoot for the Stars Game Night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at South Pymatuning Community Church, 3400 Tamarack Drive, Sharpsville.
Set in the theme of the church’s Bible School week, this Trip to Mars Adventure includes games like The Black Hole Challenge, Alien Shooter, Planet Bucket Toss, The Alien Splat—and the granddaddy of all – a Magnificent Martian Maze.
There is no charge for the event, and attendance at the church’s Bible School week is not necessary for enjoying the program. Free refreshments and game prize bags are being given to all who attend. No registration is necessary.

Reed to speak at New Castle Church
NEW CASTLE – Don Reed Sr. will preach on the Ark of the Covenant Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Shepard’s Lighthouse Church, 416 Lyndal Street, New Castle.
At 6 p.m. Sunday the movie “The Don Reed Story: A Life on the Edge of Eternity” will be shown.
Family to give concert at Wayside Church
MERCER – The Craguns, a family singing group from Batavia, Ohio, will present a concert at Wayside Community Church, 1911 Mercer-Grove City Road, Mercer, on June 30.
The concert will be held during the 10:30 a.m. worship service and is open to the public.
There is no admission charge, but an offering will be collected to assist in the family’s concert ministry.
Second Baptist to celebrate 103rd anniversary
SHARPSVILLE – Second Baptist Church, Walnut and High streets, Sharpsville, will celebrate their 103rd Church Anniversary at 11:15 a.m. Sunday.
The guests will be Pastor Brian Johnson and the New Light Missionary Baptist Church. The theme is “Giving Thanks to God for His Mercies Endure Forever” from Psalm 118.
A dinner will be served immediately following morning worship in the Fellowship Hall.
Church to mark pastoral anniversary

Mercer UM hosts Summer Smile Day Camp
MERCER – Mercer United Methodist Church will host Summer Smile Day Camp from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday through Aug. 13 at Brandy Springs Park.
There will be fun games, a Bible lesson, lunch, crafts and friendships. Children ages preschool through those going into sixth grade are welcome.
The event is free. Lunch is provided and is also free.

MERCER – Trinity Presbyterian Church, 110 E. Market St., holds its Summer Music Series during the 11 a.m. service.
