Eagle’s Nest to “come together”

Orangeville Baptist to host services, collect donations

SHARPSVILLE – Orangeville Baptist Church, 7600 Orangeville Road in Sharpsville, will hold Sunday school for all ages at 10 a.m. Sunday. Worship is at 11 a.m.

A Bible study and evening prayer are scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Women’s Bible study at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Men’s breakfast will be held at 7 p.m. June 27.

The church is always collecting food to help those in need. Items needed are canned soup and meat, fruit, pasta sauce and powdered milk.

The church is also collecting school supplies to contribute to the Hartford Township Police Department Annual Bookbag Giveaway through July 26.

Living Faith to hold in-person, radio services

FARRELL – Living Faith Christian Church, 829 New Castle Road, will hold worship services at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. The service is also broadcast on radio 87.9 FM.

Second Baptist to hold anniversary service

SHARPSVILLE – Second Baptist Church, Walnut and High streets, Sharpsville, will celebrate its 104th church anniversary at 11:15 a.m. Sunday.

Rev. Gary Diehard, Independence Baptist Church, Madison, Ohio, will be the guest for this special celebration.

Easter Resurrection Service planned

SHARPSVILLE – With our Easter resurrection services interrupted for health reasons, the congregation of South Pymatuning Community Church, 3400 Tamarack Drive, Sharpsville, will be celebrating an Easter resurrection service this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. In-person services have resumed and the celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead will include Easter selections from a choir ensemble, the music group Justified and a celebration message from God’s Word by Senior Pastor David Searle.

Social distancing and health guidelines continue to be in place for services. The public is invited to join us for this special service.

Ladies and men’s Bible studies offered

SHARPSVILLE – Separate Bible study groups for ladies and men are being offered at South Pymatuning Community Church, 3400 Tamarack Drive, Sharpsville.

These groups will meet Saturdays, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

The ladies group is led by Denise Fisher and their study will be centered on the Proverbs 31 topics from Eshet Chayil’s study titled “Woman of Honor.” The men’s group is led by Pastor Barry McLaughlin Jr. and Barry McLaughlin, Sr. Their present study is on the proof of Christ’s resurrection. Both study groups base their teaching principles and subject content on the Bible.

The groups are open to the public.

GREENVILLE – St. Michael Parish Greenville has changed its Mass times. Mass will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday  and 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday at St. Michael Church, Greenville; and 9 a.m. at St. Margaret Mission, Jamestown.


Don Reed Sr., founder of Crossing Paths TV Ministry, will be starting a “Teen Age” bible study on July 1. The study will be limited to 12 students and Bibles and study materials will be provided. We will be starting with Genesis.

SHARON – Sharon First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, is excited to announce that the leadership met by Zoom video conference in early June and created a team that is working hard to meet all of the requirements and recommendations so that the church can re-open for in-person worship services.
