First Presbyterian Church
GREENVILLE – First Presbyterian Church, Greenville, invites children to Roar Vacation Bible School “Life is wild, God is good” June 10-14 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. daily.
Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Safari Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily at 11:20 a.m.
Kids at Roar VBS will join a missio ns effort to provide nutrition packets and health checkups for moms and babies in need in Zambia, Africa. The local mission project will be collecting jars of peanut butter for the Good Shepherd Center and the Salvation Army.

South Pymatuning Community Church
SHARPSVILLE – South Py Community Church, 3400 Tamarack Drive, Sharpsville, invites children from kindergarten through sixth grade to explore “How God’s Power Can Take You To Mars and Beyond” during the church’s Summer Bible Week.
This adventure includes amazing science classes, creative crafts, exciting music, fun and recreation tied with memorable Bible stories that will help children experience God’s amazing power. The adventure runs from June 17-21 from 9-11:30 am.
On June 21, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. all children and family members are invited to the “Shoot For the Stars” party at the church. (It is not necessary to attend the Bible Week classes to attend the event Friday night). Upon entering the Mars Adventure children are given their “mission.” Each part of this mission will include games and activities all leading to conquering the Mighty Martian Maze. Once their mission is completed a bag full of exciting prizes is awarded to each child. The event is FREE and open to all children and their families.

New Virginia Methodist Church
HERMITAGE – New Virginia Methodist Church, 1100 S. Keel Ridge Road, Hermitage, will hold their VBS event from June 9-14 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Ages 3 to those finishing sixth grade are welcome to “Giddy-up Junction.” Come and enjoy hearing God’s word, snacks, crafts, puppets, and other fun activities.

Hubbard Churchof the Nazarene
HUBBARD – Hubbard Church of the Nazarene’s Vacation Bible School, “Yee Haw,” will be held June 19-21, from 6 to 8:30 pm, with registration starting at 5:30 pm. Children age 5 through sixth grade are welcome to come enjoy Bible Adventures, Saddle-up Sports, music, Projects with a Purpose, and a meal nightly. VBS is free and open to the community.

First Presbyterian Church of Sharon
SHARON – Backyard Bible School (BBS) sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, 600 E. State St., Sharon, takes place in people’s backyards in the community. Members of the church open their homes (backyards), provide a light supper and a place for fun.
This year kids will learn lessons on Peacemaking. Dates are June 17-20 from 6 to 8 p.m. Celebration Day at church and then Chestnut Ridge Campground for lunch and swimming will be held June 23.
BBS will take place in backyards in the Shenango Valley. There will be a full schedule each night of art, games, t-shirt crafts and an ice cream truck visit. Transportation is provided from the church each night with an RSVP.

Second MissionaryBaptist Church of Farrell
FARRELL – Vacation Bible School will be held at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1138 Spearman Ave., Farrell, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 3-7. The Theme is “On Safari: Managing What Belongs To God!” Guests will discover the real joy of stewardship by taking care of all the things that God entrusted to us.
There will be lessons, music, food, fun and crafts each day for ages 3-18.

SHARON – First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, holds Vacation Bible School for kids entering kindergarten through sixth grade from 5:15 to 8:30 p.m. July 29 through Aug. 2.
