CANCELED EVENTS

• Mercer High School class of 1967 meeting to be held today is canceled.

• The Wilmington Township Civic League Quilt Show set for March 28 has been canceled.

• Mercer County Amateur Radio Club meeting set for March 24 has been canceled.

• Saint Anthony’s fish fry for this week is on hiatus please check back in future weeks for notices regarding take-out dinners only.

• Hickory High School class of 1958 has canceled its meeting scheduled for March 24 at Muscarella’s Cafe Italia, Sharpsville.

• The Rise Against Hunger event for March 21 at the Shenango Valley Mall is canceled.

• Mercer Area Library is closed due to the coronavirus threat, the Library Art Show next weekend has been postponed and rescheduled for May 1 and 2.

• Due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak and restrictions, we are complying with the First Presbyterian Church request that all meetings be cancelled until further notice. The April 7 meeting of the Shenango Valley Gardeners has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date when restrictions are lifted.

• Hartstown Presbyterian Church is canceling Sunday school and worship services for this Sunday and March 29. It is also canceling its March 28 stuffed pork chop dinner.

• The Mercer County Historical Society has canceled its History in the Making and Civil War Roundtable programs until further notice. The society headquarters in Mercer will maintain regular office hours for the time being: Tuesdays through Fridays 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
