Meadville Community Theatre presents “Quaran-Teens” by Laurie Allen, a virtual performance of monologues by some of Meadville’s most talented teen actors.

Directed by BJ Angstadt, Alicia Greathouse, Geoff Hall, Tom Hall and Mitchell King, “Quaran-Teens” features performances by Ahmaya Andrews, Bailey Bish, Meadow Campbell, Joey Costa, Levi Falvey, Braden Green and Emilie Weaver.

“Quaran-Teens” is a powerful collection of 15 original monologues that explore a variety of teen responses to the pandemic and the safer-at-home restrictions that come with it. From restoring old friendships and keeping tradition alive to missing baseball, graduation, prom and much more, these monologues offer a unique true-to-life viewpoint of this ongoing crisis.

The show will be presented Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m. via YouTube. Details of how to tune in are forthcoming. Donations to Meadville Community Theatre in support of this production can be made by visiting mctbackstage.com or our Facebook page. “Quaran-Teens” is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service.
