WASHINGTON, D.C. – Local winners of the Pennsylvania’s 16th District Congressional Art Competition have been announced:

• Natalie Myers of Hickory High School, Hermitage, took home first-place honors for her entry, “Love Wins”.

• Maria Benson of Hickory High School received honorable mention for her entry, “Brad Simpson”.

The first-place art piece will be displayed in the United States Capitol building. U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly of Butler, R-16th District, will display second and third place artwork, as well as the honorable mention, in his Washington, D.C., office.

All honorees will also receive an official congressional commendation.
