Summer concerts returning to park

HERMITAGE – Buhl Park’s Summer Concert series at the Performing Arts Center Outdoor Stage will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and 6 p.m. on Sundays. Concerts are free and open to the public.

The Cabin Cafe concession stand open during all concerts and features its famous 50-cent hot dogs along with other food, snack and drink options.

The concert schedule:

• Sunday – Liverpool Lads featuring a wonderfully fab Beatles Tribute Band.

• Wednesday – Nick Fiasco, performing the sounds of Frank Sinatra.

• July 19 – Mercer Community Jazz Band, variety of jazz and concert band melodies.

• July 22 – Grant Street Exit, playing acoustic rock.

• July 26 – The Dorals with oldies and Motown.

• July 29 – The Max Schang Band, a great mix of blues and swing.

• Aug. 2 – Manhattan Band – Oldies, rock and top 40.

• Aug. 5 – Chardon Polka Band – Modern polka.

• Aug. 9 – Pipe Dreams, a tribute to the ’60s.

• Aug. 12 – County Mayo plays Irish favorites.

• Aug. 16 – Wrangler Band, country classic and classic rock.

• Aug. 19 – JD Eicher play acoustic rock.

• Aug. 23 – The Four Kings and Queen, funk, rock, R&B, Motown and jazz.

• Aug. 26 – SoundBite, mix of classic and party rock.

• Aug. 30 – Barbecue picnic in the park with Jack Lindey (3 to 4:15 p.m.) plays originals, Ed Sheeran, featuring Loop Pedal; Pink Moon (4:30 to 5:45 p.m.), Groove, R&B and Fund; and The Sensations (6 p.m.) with rock ’n’ roll oldies and Pop.

• Sept. 2 – Bishop Road with Classic Rock and Country.

• Sept. 6 – 2nd Avenue Project, jazz, funk, pop and more.

• Sept. 9 – Doug Butchy Big Band with upbeat jazz.

• Sept. 13 – North Side Jazz plays jazz, standards and American songbook.

• Sept. 16 – Re-Issue with roots, rock and Americana.

• Sept. 20 – John Reese Project plays jazz standards, R&B and Motown.
