THINGS TO DO
• St. Anthony Church is holding a fish fry from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at the church on the corner of Idaho St. and Sherman Ave. in Sharon.
Baked and fried fish will be available for $10.
This is a take-out only event, using only the Sherman Avenue entrance. Masks and social distancing are required.
• Twin City Elks is having a dine-in or take-out dinner from noon until sold-out on Friday.
The menu includes chicken, fish, pork shops, rib tips, hamburgers and hot dogs. Sides include mac and cheese, green beans, cole slaw and rice.

• First Presbyterian Church of Sharon is offering a Crazy Year, Crazy Faith drive through Bible school for their church family and others who have signed up to participate this week. Every evening this week from 5 to 6 p.m. parents can drive through their bible school for a take-home activity.
They kicked off the program Sunday with a Happy New Year celebration, complete with Pizza Joe’s for dinner to each family that drove through. Monday they celebrated Easter, complete with a bunny and egg hunt. Tuesday featured Pentacost and Wednesday will be Thanksgiving (complete with a special dinner surprise). Thursday and the final day will feature Christmas.
The director of children’s ministry, Rev. Dr. Lisa Hickman, was the organizer.
• Due to the coronavirus situation, the Farrell High School Class of 1959 is canceling lunch on Aug. 11 at Bob Evans restaurant in Hermitage.
