Things to do
• Charleston United Methodist Church, 1169 Greenfield Road, Hermitage, is hosting a soup sale with homemade chicken noodle soup and chili from 2 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 20. Pick up only; cash only. Cost is $6 per quart.
• Knights of Columbus in Greenville is holding a bingo night. Doors open at 5 p.m.; bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.
• Mercer County Democrat Party will be hosting candidate petition signing events. Information on mail-in voting and voter registration will also be available. Registered Democrats in Mercer County are eligible to sign the petitions for candidates that are running for the upcoming May primary elections.
The schedule is as follows:
Feb. 18: 4 to 6 p.m., Union Hall, 1028 Roemer Blvd., Farrell.
Feb. 20: 10 a.m. to noon, City Building, 800 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage.
Feb. 21: 1 to 3 p.m., North Sharon Fire Hall, 469 Thornton St., Sharon.
Feb. 23: 4 to 6 p.m., City Building, 800 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage.
Masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

• The Greenville Senior Center is open with a modified schedule. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the February schedule will not include card games, clubs, cornhole, entertainment, guest speakers and pickleball. The Mindful Relaxation class will not be offered this month. Exercise and bingo are once again on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meals will be take-out only; please be sure to reserve your meal two days in advance. Pick-up is at 11:30 each day.
The activity and lunch schedule for the rest of this week:
Thursday: 9:30, bingo; 10 a.m., enhance fitness/walk with ease; 1 p.m., pilates/yoga mega class
Lunch: harvest alfredo chicken over bowtie pasta, tossed salad, Italian bread, pineapple tidbits
Friday: 9:30, bingo; 10 a.m., total body fitness
Lunch: roasted pork with apples, whipped potatoes with chives, carrots, mini biscuit with apple butter, cookie.
