SENIOR CENTERS
• The Greenville Senior Center is open with a modified schedule. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the February schedule will not include card games, clubs, cornhole, entertainment, guest speakers and pickleball. The Mindful Relaxation class will not be offered this month.
Meals will be take-out only; please be sure to reserve your meal two days in advance. Pick-up is at 11:30 each day. Suggested meal donation of $2.50 unless other wise specified. February cold lunch option: egg salad sandwich – replaces the protein, side dishes still included. Notify staff when reserving your lunch that you would like the cold lunch option. Chef salad option: turkey and cheese, hard boiled egg, lettuce, tomato wedge, pickled beets, dinner roll, fruit.
The activity and lunch schedule for the coming week:
Monday: 9:30 a.m., bingo; 10 a.m., total body fitness
Lunch: Greek chicken salad (diced chicken, black olives, red onion, tomato, mozzarella cheese), homemade wedding soup, dinner roll, mandarin oranges
Tuesday: 9:30 a.m., bingo; 10 a.m., pilates/yoga mega class
Lunch: Baked ham with fruit sauce, sweet potatoes, warm beets, white bread, fresh fruit
Wednesday: 9:30 a.m., bingo; 10 a.m., cardio drumming; 1 p.m., Tai Chi
Lunch: Bratwurst, cabbage, noodles, peas, pears
Thursday: 9:30 a.m., bingo; 10 a.m., enhance fitness/walk with ease; 1 p.m., pilates/yoga class
Lunch: Creamy chicken divan over white rice, tossed salad, breadstick, warm peaches
Friday: 9:30 a.m., bingo; 10 a.m. total body fitness
Lunch: Cottage pie (beef and vegetables in gravy topped with whipped potatoes), coleslaw, biscuit, warm cinnamon applesauce
