• Hickory High School Class of 1967 will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Thelma’s Sports Nook in Sharpsville to discuss final plans for the class 70th birthday party.
The birthday party will be July 7 at Thelma’s Lodge, next to main restaurant. The time is pending, probably around 2 p.m. Also to be discussed is a class get-together tentatively scheduled for early October near the North Myrtle Beach, S.C., area.

• The Shenango Valley Urban League offers a free code program “Code 4 Your Future” summer session for Mercer County youth going to grades 9-12. The program will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday for eight-weeks beginning June 17 and continue through Aug. 10 at the SVUL (second floor), 601 Indiana Ave., Farrell.
Snacks will be provided.

• Join the Mercer County Conservation District for a program on learning how to identify wildflowers from A to Z. The program will be held at Munnell Run Farm, 24 Avalon Court, north of Mercer, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 12.
The program will begin with an introductory course on how to identify wildflowers located in western Pennsylvania. An interpretive walk around the farm will follow to see what “spring beauties” are in bloom.
