EASTER

• Clarks Mills United Methodist Church is holding a walk-through live Easter event, “The Cross and Beyond” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills.

SPECIAL EVENTS

• Mercer County Trails Association Inc. will hold its annual Trout Island Tromp 4.6 mile run and walk at 10 a.m. Saturday. This family and pet-friendly event will take place on the Trout Island Trail starting at the Sharpsville end near the post office plaza.

The cost is $20 per person and benefits the trail directly. If you frequently use this trail, please join and show your support. Registration must be made in advance at mctrails.org. Click on the events tab to sign up, and for more information.

Strollers are welcome. Dogs must be on a leash and cleaned up after. Follow the Facebook page: Mercer County Trails Association.

FOOD

• St. Anthony Church is holding its annual Easter bread sale. Easter bread is available plain for $6 or with raisins for $7. Pickup begins at 5 p.m. on March 30 at the Sherman Avenue entrance of the church only. Masks and social distancing are required for entrance.

• St. Anthony of Padua Church is holding a palacinke sale, take-out only, from 4 to 6 p.m. on March 31 in the church hall, 804 Idaho St., Sharon. The cost is $2 per palacinke.

All orders will be boxed prior to pickup. Masks must be worn and social distancing maintained at time of pickup.

Friday is the ordering deadline. To order, call 724-342-7391 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
