THINGS TO DO
• The Advisory Board of Sarah’s Butterflies Foundation is canceling the 2020 delivery of snacks and school supplies because of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases across the county. The group plans to return with the event next year.
• The Shenango Valley Masonic Lodge is holding a drive-through spaghetti dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 14 and will feature strictly takeouts. They ask the customers to remain in their cars as the food will be brought to you. The dinner will include salad, pasta with meatballs and sauce, and ice cream for $10. The lodge is located at the corner of Route 62 and 7 S. Neshannock Road, Hermitage.
• Thanks to generous donations, groups will serve free meals in Youngstown on Thanksgiving Day. All Thanksgiving meals offered to public guests (those not sleeping at Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley), only for take-out between noon and 7 p.m. at 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Youngstown. The menu is turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, and pie for dessert.
• Mercer County Amateur Radio Club will hold its monthly Zoom meeting on Nov. 24. Dave Patton, NN1N, will be its special guest speaker. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. followed by the business meeting at 7 p.m. Patton speaks at 7:30 p.m.
