TANNER MONDOK | Herald Heather Baker, Grove City Community Library children’s librarian, talks to attendees of the library’s virtual Noon Year’s Eve celebration Thursday on Zoom. With 108 people attending the virtual event, Baker said the turnout meant a lot to her because it’s one of her favorite events of the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the library couldn’t host an indoor celebration that attracted 150 guests to ring in the new year last year so Baker improvised and the event went virtual. “I really wanted to end this year with something fun this year for the kids,” she said.
