PHILADELPHIA — Mark A. Johnson of Pittsgrove, N.J., formerly of Mount Lebanon, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2006, in Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia. He was 55.

Born in Pittsburgh, son of June R. Coy Johnson and the late John A. Johnson, Jr., he lived in Pittsgrove for the past 15 years.

He was employed as an optician at National Vision, Mays Landing, for the past seven years.

He was a graduate of Mount Lebanon High School, the University of Pittsburgh and Camden (N.J.) Community College.

Mr. Johnson is survived by: his wife, the former Mary Jane Schosser, formerly of Sharon, whom he married Sept. 25, 1982; his daughter, Sarah E.; and his son, Andrew T., all at home; his mother, June R. Johnson, Mount Lebanon; his brother, J. Richard Johnson, Hilton Head, S.C.; his sister, Karen J. Acklin, Heber City, Utah; sisters- and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; and his dog, Pepper.
