SHARON — Gilbert’s Risk Solutions made donations to six nonprofit organizations in lieu of its annual Christmas party.

The staff of the insurance agency picked these recipients for varying amounts in donations:

• American Heart Association

• Penn Northwest Development Corp., Hermitage

• Community Food Warehouse, Sharon

• Joshua’s Haven, Sharon

• Hour of Power Church, Farrell

• Dr. G’s Adopt a Grandparent program

This represents just part of Gilbert’s community commitment. In addition, company management offers every employee a fully paid volunteer time off day so they can participate in the community. Employees are also able to participate in a monthly charitable Casual for a Cause program by contributing to a designated charity.
