HERMITAGE — One of the Shenango Valley Mall's largest retailers reopened its doors today for local shoppers.
With some new safety precautions in place, JCPenney General Manager Sharon Loughner said the store opened from 11 a.m. to noon today for more vulnerable customers such as the elderly, while hours for general customers will be from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The store will also be open to vulnerable customers from 11 a.m. to noon Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Loughner said.
Some of the safety precautions put in place include the suggestion that customers wear masks, hand sanitizer stations set up throughout the store and hourly sanitizing of frequently-touched areas, Loughner said.
A complete story will be in tomorrow's Herald.
