HERMITAGE — Chick-fil-A is coming to Hermitage, but only for a few hours.
A Chick-fil-A food truck from Howland, Ohio, will be in Hermitage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday outside Lowe’s home improvement store, said Leathyr Ramsey, Chick-fil-A restaurant marketing director.
She said the Howland restaurant, about 12 miles west of Sharon, has a clientele in the Shenango Valley.
“We know there’s not a Chick-fil-A out there,” Ramsey said. “We have a lot of guests that come from the Hermitage and Sharon area because we’re the closest one.”
The menu will be limited — Chick-fil-A’s famous waffle fries will not be included — but there will be waffle potato chips and many other popular items, she said.
The food truck menu will include the Chick-fil-A sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, grilled chicken wrap, grilled cobb salad, spicy southwest salad, kale crunch side, fruit cup, chocolate chunk cookies, bottles of lemonade, sweet tea and water and canned soda.
“We just wanted to bring our trailer to our surrounding communities that don’t already have their own Chick-fil-A,” Ramsey said.
