A judge held off sentencing a woman who admitted embezzling money from her employers because of restitution discrepancies, but said Thursday he was troubled by letters that the woman’s children had sent him.

Opal E. Kerr, 58, of 725 Dutch Lane, Hermitage, pleaded guilty Aug. 9 to charges of theft and access device fraud. She admitted stealing money from Future Builders of America, Farrell, and Hostetler Construction, Lackawannock Township.
