A Mill Creek Township man will face trial on charges he shot his neighbor during an argument, leaving the wounded man a paraplegic.

The shooting Sept. 7 near downtown Sheakleyville cost Cody Brandon Noel, 24, of 134 Obitz Road, Mill Creek Township, the use of his legs, a state trooper testified Monday at a preliminary hearing in District Judge Lorinda Hinch’s Mercer courtroom.

Michael Allen Kellner, 48, of 152 Obitz Road, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, propelling a missile into an occupied vehicle and three counts of recklessly endangering another person.
