• James E. Clinton, 23, of Liberty, Ohio, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct at 11:07 p.m. Thursday at Fireball Truck Night, 624 Collar Price Road, police said.

Police found suspected marijuana on Clinton when they were arresting him after he argued with Leslie J. Fender, 24, of Salem, Ohio, who was cited, police said.

• Mark R. Seger, 18, of Cortland, Ohio, was charged with underage drinking at 10:47 p.m. Thursday at Fireball Truck Night, 624 Collar Price Road, police said.

Greenville-West Salem Township

• Two 14-year-old boys were stopped by police at 2:10 a.m. Saturday at Shenango and Mercer streets, Greenville, and cited for violating curfew laws, police said.


• Two Farrell man were charged with stealing scaffolding Sunday, and one of them was arrested on two outstanding warrants.

Police said they received a call at 11 a.m. from the 2000 block of Hoezle Road that the scaffolding was being stolen, along with a description of the truck.

Southwest Mercer County Regional police stopped the truck on Broadway Avenue and Walnut Street and arrested John Williams Jr., 54, of 912 Wallis Ave., and Gary Stoutmire, 47, of 926 Emerson Ave., on charges of theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

Williams was wanted by Southwest on charges of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness for having a digital scale with cocaine residue on it at 9:12 p.m. April 19 in the 700 block of Idaho Street, Farrell, police said.

Hermitage police had filed a charge of misdemeanor retail theft against Williams after he allegedly stole two lighters at 4:04 p.m. July 2, 2002, from Giant Eagle, 2357 E. State St., police said.

Pymatuning Township

• Glenn Rowe Jr., 22, of 1029 Reynolds Industrial Park Road, Pymatuning Township, was charged at 3:18 a.m. Saturday at a home at 3752 N. Hermitage Road after a domestic dispute, police said. Police said Rowe punched out a car window and hit a man in the face. They charged Rowe with simple assault, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.


• James D. Parker, 58, of 374 Leech Road, Sugar Grove Township, was charged at 4:40 p.m. Saturday at Stambaugh Avenue and Morrison Street with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Parker had a cellophane cigarette wrapper which contained a hydrocodone pill, a pain medicine, for which he had no prescription, police said.
