Farrell police

• Jordan Scott Cole, 21, of 1190 N. Sharpsville Ave., Apartment B, Sharon, was charged with burglary, theft, trespass, prohibited possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief in a reported incident at 3:09 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 1000 block of Beechwood Avenue. Police said he broke into a home by kicking in the back door and stole a video camera and 16-gauge shotgun.

• John Lawrence O’Brien, 27, of 1253 Sharon-Hogue Road, Masury, was charged with tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after he was taken into custody at 10:19 p.m. Jan. 8 at Stafford Street and Memorial Drive. Police said he swallowed a Suboxone strip, and Buprenopine and Naloxone sublingual film and was in possession of almost four grams of marijuana.

• Gregory George Weidner, 32, of 1112 Beechwood Ave., Farrell, was charged with aggravated assault, assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and harassment after police said he pointed a handgun at another man during an argument at 11:46 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 900 block of Fruit Avenue. He also was wanted on an active bench warrant for a probation violation, police said.

• Billy Edmound Jones, 49, of 402 Cedar Ave., Sharon, was charged with trespassing, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment after police said he kicked in the door of a home at 8:16 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 1000 block of Wallis Avenue, forcing his way into the residence and breaking the door’s frame and lock.

• Charles Joseph Perkins, 25, Butler, was charged with obstruction of the administration of law at 3:36 a.m. Jan. 11 in the 1000 block of Emerson Avenue when police said he refused to identify himself during a traffic stop.

• Kymani Amari Summers, 20, New Castle, was charged with prohibited possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license and disorderly conduct Jan. 14 in the 900 block of Emerson Avenue when police said he was found with a handgun loaded with 13 rounds.

Hempfield Township police

• Michael A. Cordwell, 37, of 289 S. Mercer St., Hempfield Township, was charged with violating a protection-from-abuse order after a reported incident at 11 a.m. Jan. 11 at home. Police said an officer was called to the home for a domestic incident when he threatened to run the victim over with a vehicle.

• Johnny O. Kirby Jr., 42, of 1173 Sherman Ave., Sharon, was charged with riot, assault and disorderly conduct after police said he was part of a fight at 1:39 a.m. Dec. 29 in the 300 block of Staunton Street.

• Isaac William Timms, 22, of 276 Marshall St., Hermitage, was charged with aggravated assault of a victim less than 13, aggravated assault of a victim less than six and endangering the welfare of children after police said he exposed a 2-year-old to smoke from THC, the intoxicant in marijuana, that left the child unable to breathe without an artificial respirator at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 1 at home.

• Eric Demus, 26, of 1328 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, was charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a mentally disabled person and sexual assault after a reported incident at 11 a.m. Jan. 24 at a home in 1300 block of Roemer Boulevard. Police said Demus denied the accusation that he forced a mentally disabled person to have sex with him.

Grove City police

• Gavin Tracy, 19, of 144 Chestnut St., Zelienople, Pa., was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop at 1:13 a.m. Jan. 31 on East Main Street, police said.

• Alexander Michael Bess, 21, of 20 Hay Lane, Grove City, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 10:38 p.m. Feb. 1 in the borough, police said. 

Hermitage police

• Christopher H. Harris, 29, of 72 Strawbridge Ave., Sharon, was charged with assault and criminal mischief for an incident at 7:05 p.m. Dec. 30 in an apartment at 1425 Bolde Drive. Police said he hit a woman’s hand and tore her shirt, causing redness to her chest and arm.

• Michael Anthony Henderson, 28, of 1038 Lisa Lane, Farrell, was charged with possession of drugs with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance after police served a search warrant at 12:53 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 2900 block of Highland Road. Police said they found 8 grams of cocaine, 1 gram of heroin/fentanyl, 3 grams of marijuana stored in plastic bags and more than $300.

• Seth Marshall, 38, of 1909 Mary St., Farrell, was charged with assault and harassment at 11:20 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 1900 block of Overlook Drive after police said he repeatedly hit another person in the face, causing visible injuries that required the victim to be transported for hospital treatment.

• Ryan Evan Johnson, 23, of 376 Stambaugh Ave., Sharon, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 5:08 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 2900 block of East State Street. Police said they found two marijuana grinders, two glass pipes, a digital scale, clear plastic bag, other paraphernalia, and rolling strips.

• Steven Eugene Beck, 49, of 215 Horvath Farms Road, Hermitage, was charged with harassment after police said he called a business in the 2000 block of East State Street 17 times between 11:14 a.m. and 1:41 p.m. Jan. 4 and called the owner names after the owner and police asked him to stop.

• Jessica Faith Clarke, 33, of 1525 S. Keel Ridge Road, Hermitage, was charged with strangulation after police said he put her arm around a woman’s throat and applied pressure until the victim nearly passed out three times between Oct. 1 and Jan. 7 at home.

• Michael Gary Proie, 34, Pittsburgh, was charged with making terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct in a reported incident at 4:19 p.m. Jan. 5 in the 2600 block of Longview Road. Police said he pointed a handgun at a man and fired the weapon at least 10 times at an archery stand with homes and a heavily traveled road beyond the target.

• Estalita Shameaka Watson, 35, of 926 Market St., Farrell, was charged Jan. 22 with theft after police said she took a flat-screen TV Dec. 25 from Hospitality Care Center, 3726 E. State St.

• Richard Raymond Couturiaux, 37, of 8198 Ulp St., Masury, Ohio, was charged Jan. 24 with theft after police said he took $1,200 cash at 9:54 a.m. Oct. 8 from a home in the 100 block of Morton Street, Wheatland.

• Justin Mozingo, 29, Beaver Falls, Pa., was charged Jan. 28 with theft after police said he made fraudulent cash returns at Petco, 1145 N. Hermitage Road, starting in December and ending Jan. 17 while he was employed there. Police said the thefts cost Petco $1,043.34.

• Kenneth A. Ham, 57, of 1019 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, was charged Jan. 28 with assault after police said he punched a woman in the face, causing a visible injury, at 1:16 a.m. Jan. 21 in the 1400 block of Bolde Drive.

• Antonio H. Maxon, 21, of 1301 Buhl Terrace, Farrell, was charged Jan. 24 with false statements and statement under penalty after he answered questions untruthfully when trying to buy a firearm at 4:09 p.m. Oct. 18 at Dunham’s, 2267 E. State St. Police said state records show that he is subject to a protection from abuse order in Allegheny County.

Greenville-West Salem police

• Donald Dean Pisor, 48, of 130 Main St., Greenville, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after police said he hid a stolen wallet in Greenville’s Central Park on Nov. 27. The wallet was missing $50 to $60 when police recovered it.

• William Clair Smeltzer, 43, of 128 N. Water St., Greenville, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after police said he took someone’s wallet on Nov. 27 in Fresh Grounds Coffee House, Greenville. Police said the wallet was later recovered by police, with $50 to $60 missing.

• Paula K. Brown, 57, of 128 S. Mercer St., Greenville, was charged with possession of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he had two marijuana pipes and two small containers of marijuana Nov. 25 at his residence.

• Preston Stanley Pocock, 34, of 6519 W. Newberry Road, Gainsville, Fla., was arrested at 10:57 p.m. Dec. 2 after police responded to a domestic dispute at 122 Clinton St., Greenville. Police said and Pocock was intoxicated and became confrontational with police.

• Ellen Elizabeth Karlovic, 46, of 218 N. Diamond Ext. St., Greenville, was charged with harassment, assault and terroristic threats after police responded to a report of an argument at 6:54 p.m. Jan. 1, 2019, at the residence. Police said Karlovic scratched and threatened to kill someone.

• Jason Michael Riley, 46, was charged with criminal trespass and defiantly trespassing after police said Riley forced himself into a residence on Jan. 4 at Race Street in Greenville, after police told him that he was not welcome there.

Pennsylvania State University Shenango police

• Andre D. Smith Sr., 46, Youngstown, was charged Jan. 23 with theft, tampering with evidence and obstructing the administration of law after police said he took a cell phone valued at $226.86 Oct. 14.

Sharpsville police

• Christine G. Davies, 58, of 580 Quarry Way, Sharpsville, was charged with assault and harassment for an incident at 3:51 p.m. Jan. 5 at home, where police said he hit in the back with an aluminum pipe, causing redness and swelling.

State police

• Someone pried open the door to a trailer at 12:09 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 5600 block of Sandy Lake Polk Road, Sandy Lake Township, and removed a television valued at $600.

• Michael Zecca, 20, Freeport, Armstrong County, was charged with underage buying or transporting alcohol along Interstate 79 south, Findley Township, at 12:28 p.m. Jan. 1, police said. 

• Someone hacked the online banking of a 49-year-old Jackson Center woman at 5:11 p.m. Jan. 13 and, police said.

• A 12-year-old Hadley girl was accused of assaulting her 63-year-old guardian at 6:31 p.m. Jan. 13 on Milledgeville Road, Deer Creek Township, police said.

Pymatuning Township police

• Georgette Lynn Dorus, 32, of 81 Maple Dr., Greenville, was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness after police said she assaulted two juveniles at a residence on Dec. 29 at 34 Maple Dr., Greenville.

• Crystal Leann Russell, 35, of 582 12th St., Greenville, was charged with harassment after police said she bit someone during a domestic dispute Dec. 30 at 588 12th St., Greenville.

• David Anthony Tompkins, 34, of 944 Liberty St., Meadville, was charged with false identification to a law enforcement officer and summary traffic offenses following a traffic stop at 1:45 a.m. Dec. 22 on North Hermitage Road and 10th Street in Pymatuning Township.

• Ashely Diane Chafin, 30, of 815 Arlington Drive, Greenville, was charged with corruption of minors and selling or furnishing liquor to a minor, after police said Chafin provided alcoholic drinks to a 13-year-old minor on Dec. 13, 2019, at Chafin’s residence.

Pennsylvania State Police

• Scott Eric Plummer, 46, of 162 Donation Road, Greenville, was charged with assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and summary traffic offenses after police said he assaulted someone and then chased the victim in his car.

• Eric Stephen Thomas, 33, of 94 Lake St., Stoneboro, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and restrictions on alcoholic beverages after a traffic stop at 3:46 a.m. Sept. 29 along Route 18 in Greenville. Police said Thomas was a passenger in a vehicle that police searched and he possessed a glass smoking pipe, three needles, two containers of marijuana, marijuana wax, a metal grinder containing marijuana and 10 e-cigarette cartridges containing THC oil.

• Jabraya La Sha Moore, 22, of 75 College Ave., Greenville, was charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a search of a vehicle at 1:40 a.m., Oct. 10 at the intersection of Alan Avenue and Memorial Drive in Greenville. Police said Moore was a passenger in the vehicle and possessed a small amount of marijuana and a digital scale.

Sharon police

• Xavier Armon Ford, 18, Warren, Ohio, and Demarcus Ray Stokes, 15, of 926 Market St., Farrell, were charged with robbery, terroristic threats and theft in a reported incident at 9:56 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 700 block of Wengler Avenue. Police said the two men approached a pizza delivery driver, produced a handgun and demanded money. The driver fled in his vehicle. Farrell police department took Ford and Stokes into custody after report that they fit the description of the robbery suspects.

• Charles Brian Caston, 36, of 411 Malleable St., Sharon, was charged with assault in a reported incident at 12:28 a.m. Jan. 5 at home where police said he punched a woman several times in the face causing visible injuries.

• Ryan Adam Nelitz, 32, no address, was charged with theft after police said he took a floor jack from the front porch of a residence in the 400 block of Watson Street at about 11:03 a.m. Jan. 4.

• Earnest L. Hudgins, 59, of 1012 Washington St., Farrell, was charged with endangering the welfare of children and assault after police said he hit a boy with coat hangers Dec. 1, leaving visible injuries to the boy’s buttocks and thigh areas.

• Ivena Marie Gibbs, 32, of 784 Baldwin Ave., Sharon, was charged with aggravated assault in a reported incident at 7 p.m. Jan. 4 at home where police said he hit a woman in the hand and thigh with an aluminum baseball bat.

• John Herbert Gregory, 37, of 360 S. Irvine Ave., Apartment 4, Sharon, was charged with assault in a reported incident at 5:34 a.m. Jan. 12 at home where police said he punched a woman, causing redness and swelling to her face.

• Felicia Lynn Hallman, 36, of 1269 Cedar Ave., Sharon, was charged with criminal mischief and loitering and prowling at nighttime after police said she went to a residence about 1:23 a.m. Jan. 9 in the 700 block of Baldwin Avenue and spray painted graffiti on the residence and door, which caused about with an estimated repair cost of $175.

• Natasha Unik Talley, 40, of 110 Wallis Ave., Farrell, was charged with theft and harassment in a reported incident at 4:25 p.m. Jan. 8 where police said she grabbed a woman and took a binder that contained personal documents.

• Edward Penrose Dungee IV, 34, of 1211 N. Park Drive, Brookfield, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 11:10 a.m. Jan. 10 in the 200 block of Connelly Boulevard. Police said they found a clear plastic bag with a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana in his possession.

• Jamar Isaiah Harris, 21, of 414 Harrison St., Sharon, was charged with making terroristic threats, assault, reckless endangerment and unlawful restraint in a reported incident at 7:15 a.m. Jan. 11 at home, where police said he threatened a woman with a gun and shot her in the leg and head with a BB gun, causing a visible injury.

• Alexander Orion Shaw, 23, of 423 Sherman Ave., Sharon, was charged with assault in a reported incident at 3:35 a.m. Jan. 15 at home, where police said he punched and slapped a woman, causing visible injuries.

• Maurice E. Sasala, 24, last known address 737 Hull St., Sharon, was charged with corruption of minors after police said he had sex with a 16-year-old at 9:21 a.m. Jan. 23 in an abandoned house near Sharon Police Department.

• Brandon Michael King, 29, of 461 N. Oakland Ave., Sharon, was charged with access device fraud and theft after police said he used a bank card that did not belong to him to withdraw $60 from an ATM at 7:26 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 300 block of Sterling Avenue.

• Daequon Hasan, 20, of 815 Spearman Ave., Sharon, was charged with prohibited possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property after a Pennsylvania Probation and Parole agent reported finding a stolen firearm in his home at 1:28 p.m. Jan. 24.

• Tara Michelle Mott, 37, of 3472 Sharon Road, Lot 5, West Middlesex, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said she had a clear plastic sandwich bag containing heroin in her wallet during a traffic stop at 4:02 p.m. Jan. 22 in the 300 block of Quinby Extension.

• Octavius Lamont Clark, 41, of 702 Stambaugh Ave., Sharon, was charged with resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of children and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer after a traffic stop at 12:26 p.m. Jan. 22 at State Street and Oakland Avenue. Police said Clark continued to drive when police attempted a traffic stop. When he did stop, he did not listen to commands, and police reported having to use a Taser to subdue him.

Pennsylvania Game Commission

• Cody James Sutton, 27, of 2345 Darby Road, Hermitage, was charged with illegally owning a firearm, unlawful act concerning licenses and injuring or possessing big game off season, hunting or taking game without a license and killing off-season after a reported incident at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 11 behind his home. Police said Sutton shot a deer.

• Ashten Crawford, 26, of 919 Lisa Lane, Farrell, at Idaho Street and Park Avenue, police said.

Grove City police

• Bradley Surrena, 45, of 223 Edna St., Harrisville, at 1:44 a.m. Feb. 1 on East Main Street, police said. Also charged with possession of a controlled substance. 

• Harry P. Modaffair, 39, of 521 N. Center St., Grove City, at 1:48 a.m. Feb. 2 on East Pine Street, police said.

Hermitage police

• Timothy G. Filer, 61, of 224 E. Butler St., Mercer, at 3:52 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 100 block of South Hermitage Road, police said.

• Jamar Richard Henry, 24, of 1111 Arlington Drive, Greenville, at 1:59 a.m. Jan. 18 on Lyle Drive and Highland Road, police said.

• Christine Marie Osborne, 57, of 27 South Second St., Apartment 101, at 1:27 a.m. Jan. 29 in the 2100 block of North Hermitage Road, police said.

• Gregory Charles Smith, 50, of 125 Timber Lane, Punxsutawney, at 3:46 a.m. Sept. 29, 2019, on state Route 18, Greenville, police said. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and summary traffic violations after police said a search of Smith’s car reportedly uncovered a glass smoking pipe, three needles, two containers or marijuana, marijuana wax, a metal grinder containing marijuana and 10 e-cigarette cartridges containing THC oil.
