Farrell police

• Quentin Omar Mosley, 33, of 200 Orange Drive, Apartment 15B, Hermitage, was charged with aggravated assault of a victim under 6, assault, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of children after it was reported that a child sustained bruises on his shoulder, right eye, forehead, hip and rib cage while Mosley was babysitting the child at 4:30 p.m. May 10 in the 900 block of Park Avenue, police said.

Mosley said the child was acting up and banging (his or her) head against the wall.

Mosley was also charged June 17 with corruption of minors for an incident on March 22 when he allegedly placed a rolled blunt cigarette into the hands of a 14-year-old juvenile and instructed her to get a lighter so they could go into the car and she could try weed, police said.

• Jawuan D. Hawkins, 23, of 380 Cedar Ave., Sharon, was charged June 18 with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 10:30 p.m. April 22 at George Street and Hamilton Avenue where police found an electronic cigarette that contained suspected marijuana oil in the center console of the car.

• Billy Edmond Jones, 49, of 402 Cedar Ave., Sharon, was charged June 17 with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly taking 42-inch and 50-inch flat screen televisions and remotes around 11:38 p.m. May 8 from a home in the 900 block of Negley St.

• William Paul Jones, 22, of 4609 Deer Creek St., Youngstown, was charged with theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for allegedly taking a red Ford Focus at 3:41 p.m. June 15 from a home without the owner’s permission.
