South Pymatuning Township supervisor candidates will be joining The Herald for a live chat at 7 p.m. Friday on sharonherald.com.

The candidates will answer questions generated in the newsroom and submitted directly from readers.

The chat will be the last of the week. Farrell city council and mayoral candidates, as well as Sharon city council candidates, participated in chats earlier this week. Transcripts are available on our website.

County commissioner candidates will be live at 5:30 p.m. today and Friday; candidates will be joining one or the other, based on their availability.

The Herald is providing readers the opportunity to speak directly to candidates, and allow candidates to respond in whole to whatever concerns people may have.

The idea is to facilitate open communication in the community. If you have questions you’d like answered, submit them on the Sharon Herald Facebook page, tweet us @Sharonheraldpa, or email them to digital editor Meagen Finnerty at mfinnerty@sharonherald.com. You can also post questions directly in the live chat on sharonherald.com during the allotted time.

Please contact Finnerty for more information.
