State police are turning to the public to curb a rash of vandalism in Crawford County, just north of Jamestown.

“We’re going to ask for the public’s help,” Cpl. John Angelo said Sunday about solving the crimes.

The vandals broke out the windows of parked cars on Bullis, Leech, Hurlbert, Maplewood and Forest roads, Chase and Delaware drives, and state Route 285 in North Shenango and South Shenango townships.

There were “at least 8” incidents reported, Angelo said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crimes to call them at 814-332-6911.
