A West Middlesex High School co-principal is on administrative leave pending a probe by district officials, school board President Thomas Hubert confirmed Wednesday.

Larry A. Ellison was placed on paid leave Nov. 21.

“I have no comment,” Ellison said when contacted at home Wednesday night.

He has served as co-principal of the high school with Dr. Brian Yates for about three years, Hubert said. Prior to that he was an assistant principal for about two decades.

“The superintendent’s looking into the matter,” Hubert said.

He said he couldn’t say exactly what Superintendent Alan Baldarelli was investigating.

Until “all of the facts are in,” Hubert said it wasn’t fair to discuss the matter.

Baldarelli didn’t return calls seeking comment Wednesday.
