HERMITAGE — The Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County will hold its next Mobile Pantry distribution from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Charleston United Methodist Church, 1169 Greenfield Road, Hermitage.

The distribution will be open to residents of Mercer County and will include meat, produce and stable shelf products, according to a press release.

The Mobile Pantry program was started over the summer due to a generous gift from Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization.

The program, operated by the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County, is able to directly distribute food to food insecure individuals who may not have easy access to an established food pantry or feeding site.

The Community Food Warehouse has distributed at the Charleston church once a month and is looking to expand to a second location in 2022.
