SHARON – Police are looking for two Sharon residents in connection with a body found in an abandoned house on Baldwin Avenue last month.
Samantha Gregory, 24, and James M. Clarke, 32, both 1098 Baldwin Ave., have been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
Police said the pair moved the body of Dwayne Jordan along with associated drug paraphernalia in an attempt to conceal his death.
Clarke sold Jordan an unknown amount of heroin, which allegedly caused Jordan's overdose death, according to a police criminal complaint.
Police said Gregory and Clarke carried Jordan's body to the basement of 1098 Baldwin, where the couple was staying, and covered him with a sheet.
Dr. Eric Vey, forensic pathologist in Erie, concluded the death was not a homicide.
Police are waiting on toxicology reports, which could determine if the death was caused by an overdose.
