Hempfield Township police

• Jamma Gill, 36, Liberty Street, Jamestown, was charged with giving a false written statement and giving a statement under penalty after an incident reported at 10 p.m. Nov. 26 in the 100 block of Leech Road, Hempfield Township, police said. Police said he tried to buy a firearm and was not eligible due to prior offenses and he had certified on paperwork that all information he gave was true.

• Shane David McClimans, 26, of Oakview Drive, Greenville, was charged with giving false identification to law enforcement and driving under suspension after a traffic stop at 12:40 a.m. Dec. 18 on South Mercer Street at Sheakley Avenue, Hempfield Township, police said. Police said he gave a false last name and birthday. He also had a warrant for his arrest from state Probation and Parole, police said.

• Someone stole a 35-caliber Remington rifle with a scope, a Fox Savage double-barrel 12-gauge shotgun, a Stihl and Polan chainsaw between Nov. 26 and Dec. 20 from a garage in the 100 block of Conneaut Lake Road, Hempfield Township. The theft was reported at 1:19 a.m. Dec. 20, police said.

Sharon police

• Sari Anne Durney, 39, of 343 New Castle Ave., Sharon, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft after an incident reported at 3:20 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 200 block of East Connelly Boulevard, police said. After police detained her for stealing a carton of cigarettes, they found she had a crack pipe and two suspected crack cocaine rocks that weighed about 0.7 grams.

• Thomas R. Metz, 37, of 301 Stambaugh Ave., Apartment B6, Sharon, was charged with aggravated assault, obstructing the administration of law and possession of marijuana after an incident reported at 8:19 p.m. Dec. 27, police said. Police said he slammed a door on a patrolman and repeatedly screamed in patrolmen’s faces to prevent investigation of a domestic incident.

• Catherine Elizabeth Janke, 64, of 800 Linden St., Apartment 210, Sharon, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after an incident reported at 6:22 p.m. Thursday at home, police said. Police said she took foam plates, bath rugs, freezer bags, picture frames and wall decorations from the home.

• Gabriel Allen Queener, 31, Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with aggravated assault, receiving stolen property and reckless endangerment after an incident reported at 4:27 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 200 block of Mesabi Street, police said. Police said he shot a man twice in the leg with a firearm reported stolen in Hermitage. A reason for the shooting was not provided.

• Adonis Romon Clinkscale, 39, of 1044 Fruit Ave., Farrell, was charged with assault after an incident reported at 7:16 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Sherman Avenue, police said. Police said he kicked a woman in the right side of her abdomen and punched her in the face and head several times.

• Dennison K. Wheeler II, 50, of 374 N. Perry Highway, Lot 5, Mercer, was charged with theft after an incident reported at 10:09 a.m. Dec. 7 in the 100 block of East Budd Street, police said. Police said he rented a concrete saw and failed to return it as required.

• Damon Ray Flynn, 24, of 392 Cedar Ave., Sharon, was charged with making terroristic threats after an incident reported at 12:55 p.m. Dec. 21 at home, police said. Police said he threatened to shoot the victim while holding a firearm.

Sharpsville police

• Valerie Gravatt, 47, of 1548 W. Ridge Ave., Sharpsville, was charged with endangering the welfare of children, assault and harassment after an incident reported at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 11 at home, police said. Police said she spanked a child to the point of leaving several bruises on the child’s back and arm.

• Camray C. Schuster, 24, of 104 Wakefield Drive, Sharpsville, was charged with endangering the welfare of children, strangulation and assault after an incident reported at 6:43 p.m. Dec. 22 at home, police said. Police said she placed her hands around the victim’s neck, squeezed and began to shake the victim as the victim was walking down steps and holding a child.

Sharon police

• Justin Matthew West, 32, of 614 Spring St., Jamestown, at 7:51 p.m. Monday on East State Street and Stambaugh Avenue, police said. Also charged with institutional vandalism after he kicked the left rear door of the patrol car, bending the frame, police said.

• Usuf Joseph Allen Jr., 30, of 234 S. Darby Road, Hermitage, at 4:28 p.m. Dec. 21 on Forker Boulevard and State Street, police said.

WARRANT ARRESTS

• Michael Cordwell, 39, Greenville, at 10:02 a.m. Dec. 20 on North Second Street and Brackin Alley, police said.
