•Robert Garvey, 27, of Polk was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police arrested him on six warrants during a traffic stop in which he was a passenger at 1:51 p.m. Tuesday at Hadley and Williamson roads, police said.

•Richard C. Powell, 33, of 972 Pierce Ave., Sharpsville, was charged with simple assault for pushing a woman onto a bed, squeezing her chest with his legs, pushing her to the floor and choking her at 3:15 p.m. March 8 in the sub-100 block of Woodland Avenue, Wheatland, police said.

State police

•Copper ground wire and a copper bus breaker were stolen from the AT&T cell tower on Coolspring Church Road, Coolspring Township, between Feb. 28 and Wednesday, police said. No value for the copper was given.

•A Brookfield man reported aluminum siding was taken from the rear of an abandoned building on his property on Hells Kitchen Road, Mineral Township, Venango County, between Jan. 1 and Friday, police said. Various scrap metal, an old horse trailer, a tiller and hand tools were also stolen, police said.

•Betty P. Howard, 30, of 465 Grant St., Sharon; at 7:47 p.m. March 17 in the 900 block of North Water Avenue, after her vehicle hit a pizza delivery vehicle. The delivery man was outside his vehicle at the time, and the impact pushed the vehicle into him, police said. Ms. Howard also was charged with accident involving personal injury and driving at an unsafe speed.
