• Two Sharon boys were cited for disorderly conduct after a patrolman saw them jump aboard a train about 7 p.m. Wednesday at Pitt and Railroad streets, police said. The 12- and 13-year-olds rode the train to Silver Street and police turned them over to their parents, police said.

• A Sharon boy was treated for foot and ankle injuries at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday at Fifth Avenue and Silver Street, police said. John Austin, 15, rode in front of a car driven by Heather Moore, 33, of Fowler, Ohio, and was hit, police said. She was not cited.

State police

• Someone broke into a home at 104 Old Hickory Lane, Pine Township, between 1 p.m. Aug. 9 and 4:45 p.m. Aug. 10 and stole jewelry and cash, police said.

• Someone took a set of curtains from a children’s playhouse at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 1472 School Road, Sandy Creek Township, and burned them in the church parking lot between 3 p.m. Aug. 10 and 2 p.m. Aug. 11, police said.

• Larry Ray Priester Jr., 23, of Sandy Lake, and a 15-year-old boy were charged with car theft and receiving stolen property after they stole a car at 2:30 a.m. Monday from the marina parking lot at M.K. Goddard State Park, New Vernon Township, police said.

Priester and the boy were passengers in a vehicle that broke down on Creek Road near the parking lot, where they found an unlocked car with the keys inside. They drove the car and left it in a field on Creek Road, where police later found it.

Police interviewed the owner of the broken down vehicle, who said Priester and the boy had stolen the other car, police said.

• Police found a blue Yamaha TTR 125cc dirt bike at 4 p.m. Wednesday on the side of the road on state Route 208 at Center Church Road, Pine Township. The owner can claim the bike by calling police at 724-662-6162.

• A 6-year-old New Wilmington boy suffered minor injuries after the sport-utility vehicle he was riding in crashed Wednesday on Bethel-New Wilmington Road near Bend Road, Wilmington Township, police said.

The vehicle, driven by Christine Sanders, 33, New Wilmington, traveled off the west berm into a small washout, then hit an embankment on the east side after sliding on the freshly-chipped road, police said.

• Joseph Anthony Davis, 53, of 54 Breese Road, Fairview Township, was charged with simple assault and harassment after a domestic dispute with a girl at the home at 10 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
