Greenville-West Salem Township

• Someone stole a diamond ring July 3 during a party in the 100 block of Orangeville Road, West Salem Township, police said. The ring is a gold band with a two-carat, heart-shaped diamond.

The owner is offering a $2,000 reward for the return of the ring or information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible, police said.


• Dennis P. Michael, 34, of 311 N. Oakland Ave., Sharon, was charged with loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness at 3:49 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue, police said.

• Erik Abram, 19, of 1149 Spearman Ave., Farrell, was picked up on warrants at 6:08 p.m. Monday on New Castle Avenue, police said.

• Melissa M. Stiles, 27, of 8057 Pacific St., Masury, was charged with simple assault after a domestic dispute with a man July 7 in Sharon, police said.

• Two people were treated at the hospital at Sharon Regional Health System after a crash at 6:22 p.m. Thursday on Connelly Boulevard at Spencer Avenue, police said.

A car driven by Erin Campbell, 33, of Orchard Street, Sharon, ran a red light on Connelly and hit a truck driven by Robert Chiavazza, 69, of Baldwin Avenue, Sharon, which was traveling south on Spencer, police said.

• A 17-year-old from Transfer was charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and a curfew violation after he took part in flipping a car about 12:30 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Sterling Avenue, police said.

Police were called for a car turned on its side and several people fled in two vehicles when they arrived, police said. They were later stopped in the 400 block of East State Street.

More people may be charged, police said.

• Someone stole a rifle and scope between 8 and 10:30 p.m. Sunday from a truck parked along Springfield Church Road in Jackson Township, police said.



• Ronnie M. Kacerski, 54, of 644 Spencer Ave., Sharon; at 6:38 p.m. Monday at East Connelly Boulevard and Stambaugh Avenue.
