• Perry Cottle, 35, of 415 Lafayette St., Sharon, was charged with making terroristic threats at 1:03 p.m. Thursday at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, police said.

• Michael R. Partridge, 26, of 3085 Main St., West Middlesex, was arrested at 8:02 a.m. Thursday at the Southwest Mercer County Regional police station in Farrell on a warrant for theft, police said.

State police

• James S. Boanes, 606 Liberty St., Apartment 3, Grove City, fell asleep at the wheel at about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 173, south of Elliot Road in Wolf Creek Township, police said, adding the vehicle crashed and sheared a utility pole.

Boanes was treated at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, and taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was in fair condition Friday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

• Someone stole several pieces of jewelry between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday from a home on Old Mercer Road, Springfield Township, police said.

• A 15-year-old girl was charged Wednesday with possession of a small amount of marijuana in Lakeview High School, police said.

• Someone stole jewelry and a videogame player between Oct. 27 and 29 from an Irishtown Road home in Pine Township, police said.



• Terrie Rayburg, 49, of 2967 West Middlesex-Mercer Road, Shenango Township; at 8:04 p.m. Thursday on Maple Drive near the Shenango Valley Freeway; also charged with careless driving.
