FARRELL – A Sharon man is accused of firing three rounds close to two victims last week in Farrell.

Laven Thomas Davis, 26, of 735 S. Oakland Ave., was charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in connection with the case.

Police were called at 10:36 p.m. to the 1000 block of Wallis Avenue for a report of shots fired.

A witness said that she was talking to Davis on her porch when the father of her baby and a juvenile walked around the corner, police stated in a criminal complaint.

Davis asked them, “What’s up?” Then, he took out a hand gun, put a round in the chamber and started shooting at the man and juvenile when they were about seven to 10 feet away, police said.

The two people were not hurt as they ran for cover, police said.

Davis ran to a vehicle and left the scene.

Another witness said she saw Davis point the gun at the pair and start shooting, police said.
