Sharon police cars responded Wednesday to a report of a shooting at Pine Hollow Village.

Sharon police responded Wednesday to the city's second shooting in as many days.

Sharon police Chief Edward Stabile said two males were shot about 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Hollow Village public housing complex. Both were taken from the scene by Elite EMS.

Police cordoned off an interior parking lot at the apartment complex after the shooting.

The incident was the city's second shooting in as many days, following an incident where a 27-year-old Pittsburgh man was shot along Mesabi Street.

The man was taken to UPMC Horizon and transported from there to a trauma center in Pittsburgh.

Sharon police did not say whether the two incidents are connected.

This is a developing story. The Herald will update as additional information becomes available.
