Authorities including the U.S. Marshal Service apprehended the suspect in a shooting Jan. 27 in Sharon.
Travaris K. Dorsey, 30, of Sharon and New Castle, had been at large since the shooting. Police said he shot a woman, believed to have been a romantic partner, at a residence in the 700 block of Stambaugh Avenue.
Dorsey was taken into custody Friday in North Carolina, Sharon police said Tuesday. He is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, robbery, robbery of a motor vehicle, theft and illegal possession of a firearm.
Police said the Mercer County District Attorney's office is seeking Dorsey's extradition to Pennsylvania.
