BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a woman was found dead after an early morning fire.

Police in Beaver County say the blaze was reported in a Beaver Falls home shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Fire officials said the woman was found on the floor of the one-story home.

The name of the woman was not immediately released. Officials said three dogs also died in the fire.

Crews had the blaze under control and were securing the scene shortly before noon.

A state police fire marshal from the Butler barracks is investigating the cause of the blaze.
