FARRELL – A 41-year-old Farrell woman was stabbed to death Thursday night in her apartment.

Natasha Talley was stabbed multiple times, Mercer County District Attorney Peter C. Acker said.

Acker said investigators have a person of interest, but declined to release a name.

Farrell police were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. to the apartment at 110 Wallis Avenue where they found the woman and two young children around the age of three. The children were not harmed.

An autopsy is being conducted today in Erie.

Farrell police cleared the house and Sharon police assisted with crowd control for several people that had gathered at the scene.

City police and Acker's office called in the state police Troop D Major Crimes Unit to take over the investigation.
