Government of the people, by the people. for the people.
These are things we seniors have grown up with and revered all of our many years. We have always been proud of our country.
I believe most seniors in the good old U.S.A. still love our country as I do. However, things are not the same as they have been the 78 years of my life!
The people we have elected in government to run our country the past 35 years have given us reasons to be dissatisfied and ashamed for the direction our country is headed. We, the citizens, have lost control.
Republicans and Democrats alike have sold us out to the elitist groups. There is no difference between either party. It is now a government of the rich, by the rich and for the rich.
In the 1970’s — corporate America started taking over and they are pretty much in control. The middle class and poor are suffering immensely.
We Americans are rapidly losing our grip on our government because of corporate greed.
They control our government, the entertainment industry, sports, the media. You name it, they are in control.
They are in bed with our politicians in Washington who are supposed to be supporting us.
If we are to survive as a nation there is only one solution. We must band together and vote all the crooks out of office in Washington, the good with the bad. They are crooks; they have stolen our country from us.
To do this we must get support from the complacent Americans who are standing by with their ears and eyes closed and letting this happen. They don't even vote — but are the first to complain.
We must all get on our knees and pray to God this will happen before it is too late. It just might be already.
