There has been much to-do about the killing of civilians in the war zone. War is hell and sometimes so is peace.

I would like to remind you of the gas chambers in Germany, the slave labor camps in Siberia, the Red take over in China, the V-2 rockets fired on London, saturation bombing of the Saar and Ruhr industrial center, Pearl Harbor, the Bataan Death March, the fire bombing of Yokohama and, the atomic bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima and many other incidents which caused countless civilian causalities.

I believe we should cut a little slack and not be too eager to find fault with our heroic armed servicemen. They are fighting an enemy who wears no uniforms, who kills their own people and who used men, women and children to blow themselves up in order to kill others. Mistakes happen.

In World War II we had Axis Sally broadcasting from Germany and Tokoyo Rose from Japan. They were considered traitors.

Next we had Hanoi Jane Fonda who actually visited our enemies and Muhammad Ali who would fight for money but not for his country.

Now we have Cindy Sheehan and pretend heroes John Kerry and John Murtha and other Democratic legislators who hope we lose this war and would do anything to bring down this president and his government. For shame.
