A funeral service will be held Wednesday for Paul Fabick, 2996 Ivanhoe Road, South Pymatuning Township. He passed away at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 23, 2006, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. He was 86.

Mr. Fabick was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Sharpsville to John and Ann Ondich Fabick.

He retired in 1981 as a hookup for the former Shenango Inc., Sharpsville, where he worked for 43 years.

An Army veteran, Mr. Fabick served as a private first class during World War II.

He was a member of South Pymatuning (Township) Community Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Shenango Valley Post 1338, Sharon.

His wife, the former Rose Polanski, whom he married Oct. 9, 1947, passed away Aug. 1, 2004.

Surviving are two sisters, Lillian Zreliak, Sharpsville; and Margaret Lloyd, Warren, Ohio; and four brothers, Norman Fabick and John Fabick, both Hartford; Edward Fabick, Warren; and Raymond Fabick, Cortland, Ohio.

Besides his wife, Rose, Mr. Fabick was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, George, Donald and Samuel Fabick.

Service: Funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of IHS Gospel Ministries, Sharpsville, officiating.

Interment: West Side Cemetery, South Pymatuning Township.
