McKenzie Gustas tees off during the second day of the 73rd annual Herald-Tam O’Shanter Junior Golf Tournament in Hermitage last June. Gustas captured the tourney title.

The 74th Herald-Tam O’Shanter Junior Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for July 13-14.

The 36-hole tourney is open to all junior golfers who are residents of Mercer County. Entrants must be under the age of 18 on Sept. 1, 2022. There is no entry free.

Junior golfers are required to stop at Tam O’Shanter to register for the event, which is the longest running junior golf tournament in the country.

This year’s tournament is being held in honor of Pat Reilly, the 1951 and 1952 tourney champion, who recently passed away. Reilly was the president of the PGA of America from 1989-90.

“Pat was a great friend of Tam O’Shanter and the Shenango Valley,” said Tamie Director of Golf John Kerins.
