Reynolds 52, Lakeview 49 (OT) — Friday’s opener was a thrilling overtime win by the Raiders.

Lakeview jumped out to an 18-2 first-quarter advantage. Reynolds outscored Lakeview 19-2 and trailed 29-23 at the break. The second half featured 8 ties and the Raiders took their first lead of the game with the first shot of the overtime session to lead 46-44. The score was tied at 49 when Reynolds’ Dan Smith buried a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Raiders to victory.

Smith led the Raiders with 20 points while Chris Laverty added 16 markers. Lakeview featured three players in double figures, Jake Bertin (16), Eric Montgomery (14) and Michael Philson (14).

Farrell 83, Sharon 60 — Marsell Holden scored 18 points as the Steelers led the entire game. The closest Sharon would get was 37-33 with four minutes left in the third quarter.

Josh Williams and Donald Jackson each bucketed 14 points for the Steelers and Traphael Stubbs added 10. Dion Elam led the way for Sharon with a game-high 22 points. Also, Lamont Mitchell scored 12.

Grove City 67, Hickory 37 — In the Winner’s Bracker finals, Hickory had a short-lived 10-9, but Grove City scored 13 consecutive points and never was headed.

Jordan Fee (14), Ben Liebling (12) and Maxx Stutz (11) paced Grove City’s scoring.

Farrell 74, Reynolds 47 — Holden bucketed 18 as the Steelers downed the Raiders.

Also in double digits for Farrell were Williams (15), Torlando Hopson (13) and Dan Odem (10).

Reynolds did not have a double-digit scorer.
