NEW WILMINGTON – Former Westminster College volleyball player Shanna Daniels was honored as part of the school’s All-Decade Team.
A Hermitage native, Daniels was the starting setter on the 2017 Eastern College Athletic Conference championship team and also was part of the 2018 team. Each won 30 matches – only the third and fourth 30-win seasons in school history.
Daniels was recognized as 2nd-Team setter on Westminster’s All-Decade Team. She earned All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference recognition in each of her final 2 seasons, including 2nd-Team honors her senior year.
She concluded her career with the 10th-most assists in Westminster College program annals (2,079), and her 984 career digs rank 22nd in program history, while her 106 service aces are 19th-best.
Daniels led the Titans in assists 3 of her 4 seasons, including a career-high 693 in her senior campaign. She was also top-3 in service aces twice, including 2nd in 2018 with a career-best 36.
