ä Sharon 28, Kennedy Catholic 29 — At Buhl Park, Adam Cain clocked in at 18:37 followed by Tim Runyan as they led the Tigers (1-4) to their 1st win of the season.

Chaz Chavara (19:08) took 3rd place for KC.

ä Franklin 19, Lakeview 37 — At Franklin, Ryan Schman (16:54), Bert Hines and Kirk Russell swept the top 3 spots for the Knights in Franklin’s victory.

Adam Watson placed 4th for the Sailors (4-2), clocking in at 17:28.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

ä Kennedy Catholic at Sharon — At Buhl Park, the Lady Tigers did not field a full team.

KC’s Bethany Kifer, Julia Hosack and Nikki Joseph all clocked in at 22:55. KC’s top 5 runners all finished within 15 seconds of each other.

ä Lakeview 22, Franklin 35 — At Franklin, Rachel Watson (21:03), Sami Scott, Kelcie Maxwell and Kelli Stringer placed 2nd through 5th to lead the Lady Sailors (5-1).

Franklin’s Mary Weaver finished 1st in a time of 20:34.

BOYS SOCCER

ä Kennedy Catholic 1, Wilmington 1 (2 OT) — Under the lights in New Wilmington Wednesday night, the Golden Eagles (6-6-2) and ’Hounds (2-11-1) played to a tie.

Brad Pontius scored for Wilmington; Carlos Ferreira tallied for KC coach Bill Dodd, off an assist by Anthony Giglio.

GIRLS SOCCER

ä Kennedy Catholic 1, Grove City 1 (2OT) — At Forker Field in Grove City, Mariah Trieber scored for GC while Jenna Green tallied for KC.

Angela Balint made 27 saves in goal for Kennedy.
